Albert Der Bedrosian

August 1, 1927 – May 4, 2013

We are saddened to inform you that long time Armenian Community of Oregon (ACO) member, past ACO President and Oregon St. Kevork Armenian Apostolic Church Senior Godfather, Albert Der Bedrosian has passed away on May 4, 2013 in Portland, Oregon in the presence of his family.

Albert was born on August 1, 1927, in Beirut, Lebanon. He was the oldest of three children born to Sarah and Ghevont Der Bedrossion. Albert arrived in the US early in 1950s on a ship to go to college. After spending some time in the East coast, he married and raised a family in San Francisco. He eventually settled in Portland area in 1980.

St. Kevork Annual Garage Sale Fundraiser

May 18 & 19, 2013 from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

St. Kevork Armenian Apostolic Church will hold its first annual garage sale at the church grounds to raise much needed funds toward covering the cost of our sanctuary’s mortgage.

Please consider donating items in good condition to St. Kevork’s Garage Sale!

We will accept small furniture, kitchenware, new or barely used clothing, toys, athletic items, souvenirs, electronics in working condition, CDs & DVDs, etc.
